Customer Relations and Quality Control

Decorative Stone Masonry is a proven product; it could be that you are unfamiliar with our products. We can supply, advise and support in areas ranging from cost analysis to styling and construction. Please contact us as we provide, free of charge, estimates and advice by our qualified professionals. As our products are hand crafted this allows each product to be individually inspected for defects both structurally and visibly. Quality control is carefully overseen by the production manager and his supervisors.

Blending – Blending is the process of mixing masonry units or paves to ensure even colour distribution.

Batch variation – Most masonry units have only minor co lour variation within a batch. However colour's may vary slightly between batches. To avoid this problem, order sufficient units for the entire job (allowing for cuts) and have the total order delivered to the site. If additional units are required, hold back some of the original order and blend these with the new units by drawing from multiple open packs.

Liability – Inspect masonry units upon delivery. Once installed, product liability transfers to the purchaser.

Product images – The images shown in DSM product information, including this web site, give a general indication of Colour for preliminary selection. View display panels and current production samples before making a final selection. Our display center staff may also be able to direct you to finished jobs. Colour may mellow or fade slightly over time.
